At Home in the Heart of Mallorca

Solu Farm in Alaró

SOLU FARM is located in a valley just outside the village of Alaró, at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains.

The 3 ha of land have been — and continue to be — carefully regenerated through regenerative agricultural practices focused on restoring soil health, replanting trees, and bringing biodiversity back to the landscape.

Over the past years — and still today — we live and work on the land, shaping SOLU FARM as a place of gathering: where meals are shared, wine is poured, conversations unfold and people come together around food.

You can visit us during our farm open day every Thursday from 10:00–16:00 — and you’ll also find our farm stand with products to buy directly, including wine and honey.

Hands at work in the SOLU Farm vegetable garden — four ripe heirloom tomatoes cradled in one hand, pruning shears in the other, a wide straw hat shielding the midday Mallorcan sun. Rows of kale and flowering fennel blur softly in the background, Alaró.

Vegetable Garden

Our 4000 sqm vegetable garden is the heart of our project. We use a variety of soil management practises and we are by no means dogmatic.  Read more

Our Vineyard

Our vineyard is where the journey begins. We believe wine starts with the grapes, so our focus is on regenerating the land and growing the best fruit possible. Read more

Dense organic vegetable beds mulched with golden straw at SOLU Farm — kale, fennel, and flowering greens thriving among young trees, with a soft-focus stone wall and Mediterranean shrubs beyond. A living example of regenerative agroforestry in Alaró, Mallorca.

Agro forestry

A vision to establish a food forest has led to the planting of over 400 stone fruit, nut, citrus and a variety of other fruit trees.

Three jars of SOLU Farm honey stacked vertically, each labelled “MIEL” in clean black sans-serif — golden amber glowing against a dark, understated backdrop. Raw honey from the farm’s own bees in Alaró, Mallorca.

Our Bees

Bees are an essential part of our ecosystem. Our beehives on the farm support biodiversity and healthy landscapes. Twice a year we harvest our own honey — each batch shaped by the season and always slightly different in taste.
